Bartol Research Institute Neutron Monitor Data
|
Conditions for Use of Data
You are welcome to use neutron monitor data of the Bartol Research Institute under the following conditions:
1 |
You agree to acknowledge our NSF grants in any published use of the data. Example: "Neutron monitors of the Bartol Research Institute are supported by the National Science Foundation. " The appropriate grant numbers will change from time to time; for current numbers, email to john@bartol.udel.edu. |
2 |
You agree to send a copy of any paper using these data to: John W.
Bieber |
3 |
You may share these data with colleagues, provided you inform them of these conditions. This is most simply accomplished by including the header information that came with the file when you got it. |
Note: Each link in the following table will display a 900KB yearly file. If you need to download multiple files you may wish to use our FTP server-- the files (both uncompressed and compressed) may be found at ftp://ftp.bartol.udel.edu/pyle/BRIData/ |

p = partial, * = Preliminary; NOTE: Preliminary data
have been subjected to basic quality tests, and major defects have been
corrected. Final data have passed a comprehensive "annual" review,
the primary objective of which is to identify and correct subtle anomalies and
long-term changes in detector efficiency, barometer accuracy, etc. We encourage
other researchers to use preliminary data in scientific analyses, as we
do,while bearing in mind that adjustments (usually small) may eventually be
made.
The Bartol Research Institute neutron monitor program is supported by the
United States National Science Foundation under grants ANT-0739620 and
ANT-0838839, and by the University of Delaware Department of Physics and
Astronomy and the Bartol Research Institute.
